Former England cricketer on where Ronaldo should go next

On a pre-season tour of Asia and Australia without Ronaldo, United scored 11 goals in victories over Liverpool, Melbourne Victory, and Crystal Palace.

It’s all good signs for Erik Ten Hag’s Man United, they have done so well without their star man. Meanwhile, an Ex-England cricketer is hoping that his favorite Premier League clubs signs the 37 year old veteran!

Kevin Pietersen is a huge Chelsea FC fan, and he frequently posts about it on his social media accounts. Earlier this year, he savagely mocked Yuvraj Singh (Indian cricketer), a Manchester United fan, after the Red Devils went on a losing streak.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at Manchester United is currently a hot topic, and taking note of the situation, Pietersen urged that Chelsea sign Ronaldo.

Taking to Twitter, Pietersen wrote: “Sign @Cristiano please @ChelseaFC.”

The Portugal great stunned United earlier this month with a shocking leave request following the club’s inability to qualify for the Champions League. Ronaldo would have expected a slew of major teams to compete for his services.

However, for the first time in his sparkling career, he appears to have lost favour with Europe’s wealthy elite, as Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Paris Saint-Germain all look to have turned their backs on the forward.

United manager Erik ten Hag has often said publicly that Ronaldo is “not for sale.”

Despite the fact that Ronaldo was United’s leading scorer last season, there is a growing feeling in Manchester that his departure could help Ten Hag’s chances of establishing a side more suited to the style he established at Ajax.

But Ten Hag thinks otherwise!

Ronaldo to hold talks with United

Cristiano Ronaldo is due to meet with Manchester United this week to discuss his future, amid speculation that he may not stay at Old Trafford this season.

The 37-year-old returned to the United Kingdom on Monday evening after missing United’s pre-season trips to Thailand and Australia due to a family matter, with manager Erik ten Hag likely to speak with him in the coming days.

Ten Hag is eager to get Ronaldo involved in his ideas as soon as possible, despite the fact that Ronaldo has been looking for a way out in a desire to play Champions League football.

With less than a fortnight left before Brighton’s visit to Old Trafford on 7 August for the season opener, Ten Hag said last he has no concerns about Ronaldo being ready for action.

“We all know Ronaldo is a top professional and will be fit, that is the last concern I have,” he insisted.
